MARKETING X

My work in marketing roles in the past three years has allowed me to take full advantge of my multi-faceted approach to design.  In these roles I have been brand manager, graphic designer, photographer for events and ecomm, social media content creator, layout designer, strategist and copywriter, and website manager.

nonsuch studios

My initial role at Nonsuch Studios was as Social Media Marketing Assistant, moving up to Marketing & Sales Lead in January 2022 as head of a small team.  

During this time my work included 
expanding the current branding to create a more focused messaging and visual identity for the company.  This included creating graphics guidelines, messaging and copy, press and comms guidelines, and a good deal of marketing material.

Nonsuch Studios As an arts venue hosts a variety of theatre, poetry, comedy, and other performance acts, and also hosts local artists workshops, regular classes, and space hire for business and creatives. The brand style had to reflect all of these outputs, whilst creating a tangible identity for the overarching brand. 

My marketing plan split the external output of the venue into four groups: events (watch), classes (learn), studios (create), and kitchen (taste).  These ‘strands’ each had their own respective campaigns separate from identity and visiting event campaigns. 

In this role I also create a great deal of digital and print material, including images and video for social media and digital advertising, flyers and posters, and all internal signage.  This also includes liaising with visiting artists to distribute their material, and create ‘in-house’ style marketing for each event.  

In this role I also maintain the wordpress website, update SEO, write event copy and social media strategy, and write campaign strategy using audience development data.  As marketing & sales lead I developed the look and style of the establish Nonsuch Studios brand to encompass a new range of marketing outputs.
